In my last post, binanggit ko ang isang dahilan why we rejoice kahit na mahirap ang kalagayan natin ngayon dahil sa coronavirus pandemic. We thank the Lord kasi mas kumakalat ang salita ng Diyos, mas nagiging attentive din ang mga tao sa Word of God. Kaso, sa pagkalat ng Salita ng Diyos, kasabay din niyan ang pagkalat ng mga false teachings. As Christians, lalo na kung pastor/preacher ka, we must be aware na merong ilang mga popular distortions ang gospel message. Yung iba dito hindi ganun ka-obvious, that is why we must be discerning at dapat turuan din natin ang mga members natin to identify itong mga false versions ng gospel message.

Aside from pointing out these specific distortions of the gospel, pinakamainam pa rin na palagi nating ituro sa kanila kung ano ba yung gospel. The most effective way we Christians can discern gospel distortions is by continually preaching to ourselves the true gospel.
