Pero dapat magkaiba ang responses natin - deeper trust in for God and more love for our neighbors. Merong ilang mga various reasons kung bakit sa halip na maging iba ang response natin, nagiging pareho lang din nila ang approach natin about suffering and evil.

Hindi Mala-lockdown ng Coronavirus ang Word of God

Because of this pandemic, mas lalo pa ngang nagiging viral ang Word of God. And in that we rejoice. Walang anumang forces in nature ang may kapangyarihang kumontrol sa Word of God. Hindi mo pwedeng i-lockdown ang salita niya. "The word of God is not bound” (2 Tim. 2:9).

Pastors, We are not the Hope of the Church

I just came home from the 60th annual gathering of pastors and leaders of the Luzon Convention of Southern Baptist Churches, and I am forcing myself to reflect on what I have seen. I want to be able to say that the Luzon Convention is in good shape, but that would be dishonest. I want... Continue Reading →

“Pastors, We’re Still a Bit of a Mess”

Pastors, we're still a bit of a mess. We're all at times very poor examples of the truths we teach. We all have the dark ability to expound a passage that lauds God's grace yet be a husband or father of ungrace in the car on the way home. You can lead a men's ministry... Continue Reading →

The Gospel is Not the Results of the Gospel (Tim Keller)

The gospel is not about something we do but about what has been done for us, and yet the gospel results in a whole new way of life. This grace and the good deeds that result must be both distinguished and connected. The gospel, its results, and its implications must be carefully related to each... Continue Reading →
