God is love. That’s true. He will show mercy to those who are oppressed. He will help the helpless. However, our tendency is to focus on God’s loving character and neglect this equally important attribute of God – our God is a God of justice.
That’s why it is important to study the often neglected section in the Old Testament Scripture – the Minor Prophets. If you will just spend more time studying that part of the Word of God, you will see the truth about his justice more clearly.
Because God is righteous and just, if there is something wrong, he will make it right (in his time, of course). If someone sinned against him, he will punish accordingly. No one can bribe him with good works or religiosity. No one can distort his sense of fairness. God won’t let sin get away without satisfying his justice.
It’s true even for his chosen people Israel. They were not exempted. They sinned against God. God will punish them. There’s nothing they can offer to him that can appease his wrath. Nothing. Not money. Not religion. Not their own righteousness. Why? Because his justice is un-bribeable.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I do
believe that yyou should write more about this subject, it may not be a taboo suject but typically people don’t
discuss these topics. To the next! Best wishes!!
