Ang pangako ng Diyos ay hindi titigil sa oras ng kamatayan ni Abraham. Magpapatuloy, hindi lang sa lahi ni Isaac, kundi sa mga susunod pang salinlahi, hanggang sa pagdating ng Panginoong Jesu-Cristo, the true and better son of Abraham. Ang pagdating ng Panginoong Jesu-Cristo ang fulfillment ng lahat ng pangako ng Diyos kay Abraham.
