Matigas ang ulo natin. Matigas ang puso natin. Pero di tayo pababayaan ng Diyos sa katigasan natin. He will use other people to confront us. At gagamitin din tayo ng Diyos to confront others sa kanilang kasalanan. Tulad ng ginawa ni Nehemiah.
Dedication and Ministry (Nehemiah 11-12)
God's people, tayong mga Christians now, must be ready to lay down our lives, make sacrifices, hindi puro personal preferences or convenience or ambition ang iniisip. Na para sa atin, the purpose of God, the mission of God, and the glory of God is more important than anything in this world.
Confession and Commitment (Nehemiah 9-10)
Mahalaga ang confession of sins - both private and public - para maging totoo ang repentance. But it must also be followed with a commitment to obey God. Your confession is not true repentance, kahit na iyak ka pa ng iyak, kung walang pagkamuhi sa kasalanan, at pagnanais na sumunod sa kalooban ng Diyos.
The Word of God for the People of God (Nehemiah 7-8)
Kung hindi ka attentive sa Word, you dishonor God. Salita n'ya 'to, iisnabin mo? Kung hindi ka attentive, pridefully you're starving and hurting your soul. Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God (Deut. 8:3; Matt. 4:4). Magiging malnourished ka, magkakasakit, mamamatay ka if you're not paying attention.
