Kung anumang doktrina ang pag-uusapan, kailangang nakakabit sa gospel. Kung isyu ng buhay Cristiano o ministry ng church ang pag-uusapan, kailangan pa ring nakakabit sa gospel. Kaya naman itong gospel ay "of first importance" o "pinakamahalaga sa lahat" (1 Cor. 15:3).
