I hope itong two prayers sa Psalm 119:41-48—for the gospel to go deeper sa puso natin at for the gospel to overflow para masabi natin ito sa iba—ang maging prayers din natin. At itong four commitments—in obeying, proclaiming, treasuring and meditating on God’s Word—ang maging commitments din natin. Not just occasionally, but daily.
The Word of God for the People of God (Nehemiah 7-8)
Kung hindi ka attentive sa Word, you dishonor God. Salita n'ya 'to, iisnabin mo? Kung hindi ka attentive, pridefully you're starving and hurting your soul. Man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God (Deut. 8:3; Matt. 4:4). Magiging malnourished ka, magkakasakit, mamamatay ka if you're not paying attention.
