Dear brother/sister,
On April 12-14, 2016, thousands will gather at the Together for the Gospel biennial conference for pastors at Louisville, Kentucky. Under the theme “We are Protestant: The Reformation at 500”, pastors will “come together to remember the burning truths of the Reformation, apply its spirit of protest to our times, and take courage for life and ministry” (from conference website www.t4g.org). Some of the speakers will be John Piper, John MacArthur, RC Sproul, David Platt, and Matt Chandler.
A few months ago, God had placed in my heart a desire to participate in this conference. I am also “convinced that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been misrepresented, misunderstood, and marginalized in many Churches and among many who claim the name of Christ.” The church in the Philippines, not just in US, “is in a moment of spiritual crisis.” There is a great need to rediscover the glorious truths of the gospel and its implications for life, ministry and mission. This passion for the gospel has been burning in my heart for several years. And I have talked to other pastors about this and we are convinced that God is calling us to stand together and work toward putting back the centrality of the gospel in our churches.
I believe that by attending the T4G conference, my heart will be stirred and strengthened to start and lead a similar gospel-centered movement among pastors in the Philippines.
If you also believe that this leading is from God, you can partner with me in prayer and support for my financial needs for this conference (at least 70,465 pesos).

“Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen” (Philippians 4:16-20 ESV).
Standing with you for the gospel of Jesus,
