Marriage is the deepest human relationship a man and a woman can enter into. During their wedding, a man and a woman enter into a covenant, promising each other that they will love and be faithful to each other, “’til death do us part.” And yet, as we often say, promises are meant to be broken. True when we’re speaking of promises made by sinful, selfish men and women. But when God makes a promise, it’s a different story.
