I am a child of God and a follower of Jesus Christ. I am, only because of the grace of God. From the overflow of his grace and love, I long to see a multitude of people who treasure Jesus above all things in life, and yes, even above life itself. I pray that God will use this site to that end.
But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world (Gal 6:14 NAU).
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ (Phi 3:7-8 ESV).
It is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be at all ashamed, but that with full courage now as always Christ will be honored in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain (Phi 1:20-21 ESV).
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified (1 Cor 2:2 NIV).
I am the (undeserving!) husband of Jodi (since May 3, 2008). Truly, “the man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord” (Pro. 18:22 NLT). By God’s grace, I commit to love her and give myself for her as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her (Eph. 5:25).
I am the father of Marcus Daniel (born December 31, 2010) and Stephen Lucas (born July 3, 2013). They “are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him” (Psa. 127:3 NLT). It is my prayer that I may reflect daily the love, discipline, patience and grace of the Father to them (Eph. 6:4; 5:1).
I serve as Leading Pastor of Baliwag Bible Christian Church in Bulacan since February 2009. I love my church. I am committed to shepherd them “to build local and global grace communities of committed followers of Christ.”
I was trained to study, apply and teach the Word of God at International Graduate School of Leadership (Master of Divinity, Major in Biblical Studies, 2011) in Quezon City. I am now serving as one of their instructors in Old Testament Narratives, New Testament Narratives and Expository Preaching Foundations.
I previously worked as a Water Resources Engineer (2003-2007) at San Miguel Corporation after graduating from the University of the Philippines (BS Civil Engineering). But now, I strive to be God’s pipeline, drawing from the reservoir of God’s water of life to bring to people who desire to have their thirst quenched. I believe (and this is what I preach!) that we can have true and lasting satisfaction, security and significance not in any other person or thing in this world, but only in Jesus who said:
Whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life (John 4:14 ESV).
