Rooted in key passages from 1 Corinthians, this conference invites you to see how the gospel forms a holy, unified, loving, worshiping, hope‑filled people whose life together makes Christ unmistakably visible in the world.
Through rich preaching and practical breakout sessions, we’ll explore how preaching Christ, pursuing holiness, embracing Spirit‑given diversity, practicing Christlike love, worshiping with clarity, and living in resurrection hope all reveal the power and wisdom of God. Mark serves as the senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. A Duke graduate, Dr. Dever holds a M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, a Th.M. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Ecclesiastical History from Cambridge University. He is the President Emeritus of 9Marks and has taught at a number of seminaries. Dr. Dever has authored several books and articles, most recently, Discipling, The Compelling Community and The Church: The Gospel Made Visible. Earlier books include What is a Healthy Church?, The Gospel and Personal Evangelism, Nine Marks of a Healthy Church, The Deliberate Church, Promises Kept: The Message of the New Testament, and Promises Made: The Message of the Old Testament. He and his wife Connie live and minister on Capitol Hill, with Connie giving much of her time to creating a childrens’ curriculum (PraiseFactory). They have two adult children
John has pastored Evangelical Christian Church of Dubai since 2005 after moving there from Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC. He is married to Keri and they have two daughters, a son, two sons-in-law, and a grandson. He graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2003. He co-authored Prioritizing the Church in Missions.
Alvin pastored in the greater Manila for 9 years. He also served on staff and as assistant pastor at Redeemer Church in Dubai for 5 years. Currently, he pastors at Crossroads Church of Dubai, a Tagalog-speaking evangelical church situated in Deira, Dubai. And while shepherding in the Middle East, his heart’s desire is for the Philippines to be transformed such that it would be known not only as a place where it’s “more fun” but as a place where the church is thriving, gospel-centered, and healthy. Alvin is happily married to Dianne for 18 years.
Jared is husband to Laurie and dad to Carson and Duncan. Jared is a global worker with Reaching & Teaching International Ministries, serving as one of the pastors at Pines City Baptist Church and as the academic director of Pines City Baptist School of Theology in Baguio City, Philippines. Jared holds a PhD in New Testament Studies and was previously a pastoral resident at Hinson Baptist Church in Portland, OR. He loves reading books to his kids, drinking coffee with his wife, and playing basketball.
Franco serves as lead pastor at Calulut Baptist Church in San Fernando, Pampanga. Together with his wife Pauline and son Calvin John, they are committed to making others glad in God by making gospel-centered disciples of all nations. He previously served as pastor of discipleship and body life at International Baptist Church of Manila for ten years. He is also the founder and director of iDISCIPLE Philippines, committed to walking alongside pastors in building healthy churches. He now travels as an instructor for The Charles Simeon Trust, equipping pastors to rightly handle God’s Word.
Ramen is serving as pastor of Scripture Alone Baptist Church in San Simon, Pampanga. His wife, Claine Laris is homeschooling their two children, Geneva and Zurich. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology from Asia Baptist Bible College in Sta. Mesa, Manila (2003–2007) and a graduate of Grace Ministerial Academy (2010–2015), where he served as one of the tutors from 2016 until 2025, teaching New Testament Letters and Theology. He is also the regular teacher of Reformed Bible Study PH, an online ministry of their church, livestreaming every Tuesday on Facebook.
John serves as lead pastor of Redeemer Christian Church Manila, a Southern Baptist church and part of the Acts 29 network in the Philippines. He is a pastor and church planter, and his ministry centers on preaching the gospel clearly, building up the local church, making disciples, and developing leaders for healthy Filipino churches. He serves on the training team for City to City Philippines’ church planting cohort in Manila, equipping pastors to plant gospel-centered churches. He and his wife, Katherine—known to friends as Kali—also serve with iDISCIPLE Philippines, helping equip church leaders and ministry workers for gospel-centered disciple-making. They live in Manila.
Dr. Larry is the Senior Pastor of Greenhills Christian Fellowship (GCF-Main), a vibrant church that has planted and provides spiritual oversight to more than 30 churches in the Philippines and beyond. Installed as Senior Pastor in 2011, he is a respected ministry leader, author, and speaker who serves on the boards of several Christian organizations. A medical doctor by training, Dr. Pabiona practiced medicine for 16 years and previously served as CEO of a private hospital before dedicating himself to full-time ministry. He and his wife, Joy, have been married for 35 years and are blessed with three children and two grandchildren.
Liam became the Associate Pastor at Charlotte Chapel in September 2010. Liam didn’t believe in Jesus when he was growing up, but when he went to University, everything changed. After hearing a sermon on Gethsemane, he believed the gospel and committed his life to Christ. Soon after that he felt a desire for pastoral ministry and with the encouragement of his local church, he studied theology. After coming to Charlotte Chapel a decade ago, Liam helps preach, provide member care, disciple future pastors and helps lead the international efforts of The Pillar Network.
Nathan Akin is the Executive Director of the Pillar Network. He previously served as Pillar’s Associate Director for four years. He also is a founder and the current Director of Baptist21. Nate is married to Kelsey and father to Ada and Ryland. He has a Master’s of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Murray State University, where he twice played in the NCAA Tournament. In the past, he served as the Discipleship Pastor of Imago Dei church, a church he helped plant.
Keri lives in the United Arab Emirates, where her husband is the pastor of the Evangelical Christian Church of Dubai. She is the author of The Good Portion: Delighting in the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit and The Gospel of God: A Bible Study on Romans for Women. Keri also cohosts Priscilla Talk, a 9Marks podcast.

Yes, walk-in registration is welcome! However, conference kits and book giveaways are subject to availability, with priority given to participants who registered and paid in advance.
All registration fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another participant. Please note that the original participant’s selected breakout session will also be assigned to the new participant.
No need! You do not need to present a receipt upon registration. Our team will assist you with the process.

Pets are not allowed inside the venue. Food is also not permitted inside the conference hall, but we have designated areas where you can enjoy your meals and snacks.
Yes! Children are welcome. We have a nursery and a breastfeeding area available within the venue. However, parents must ensure that their children are supervised at all times.
There is no specific dress code for the conference. However, as the venue is a church, we encourage everyone to dress modestly and appropriately out of respect.
