Making Gospel-Centered Disciples (free Taglish ebook)

Everything we are doing, trying to do, and must do in our church is about disciple-making. We are not just trying to make converts, na pagkatapos mabaptize, ayos na. Kasali iyon. Our mission is to make disciples of all nations. We’ll explore this definition in this book.

What to Expect

…Everything we are doing, trying to do, and must do in our church is about disciple-making. We are not just trying to make converts, na pagkatapos mabaptize, ayos na. Kasali iyon. Our mission is to make disciples of all nations.

As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” At once they left their nets and followed him (Matt. 4:18-20 NIV).

Ang pagiging disciple ay hindi one-time decision. Ito ay habang buhay na paglalakbay. Heto ang definition ni Jim Putman (Real-Life Discipleship) batay sa sinabi ni Jesus na, “Come, follow me and I will make you fishers of men”: A disciple is following Jesus (“Come, follow me…”), being changed by Jesus (“…and I will make you…”), and committed to the mission of Jesus (“…fishers of men.”). We’ll explore this definition as we go along.
