Grace to You (1 Cor. 1:1-9)

Maraming issues tayo sa church at sa Christian life, pero isa lang ang pangunahing root problem. It is our lack of confidence, our unbelief, sa biyaya ng Panginoon in the gospel of the Lord Jesus.

Part 1 – Perfect Words of Grace (1:1-2; 5:12-14)

Sunud-sunod man ang mga paghihirap na maranasan mo, sunud-sunod din ang biyaya ng Diyos para sa 'yo. Matambakan ka man ng maraming problema sa buhay, tambak din ang pangako ng Diyos na maaari mong panghawakan. When life is hard, and it is, his grace is enough and will always be enough for you.

Sukdulang Biyaya (music video)

Ang sola gratia (grace alone) ay dinisenyo ng Diyos para magsilbing gasolina para pagliyabin ng Espiritu sa puso natin ang soli Deo gloria (to the glory of God alone). Kaya marapat lang na kung tayo'y namamangha sa kanyang biyaya para sa ating mga makasalanan, sambahin natin siya sa pamamagitan ng awit na 'to... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HImaf08eHs For more tagalog... Sola Gratia Part 2 – Chosen by the Father

Last week, sinimulan na ni Ptr. Eric ang October series natin na sola gratia. Parang tinapos na nga niya ang series natin! Mula simula hanggang katapusan, talaga namang biyaya lamang ng Diyos ang nagligtas sa atin. But the gospel of the grace of God is so rich, hindi tayo mauubusan ng pag-aaralan diyan. At tayo... The Only Need of Every Heart

This is how Spurgeon "preached Christ to every class of hearer and Christ as the only need of every heart" (Iain Murray, The Forgotten Spurgeon, p. 42): Remember, sinner, it is not thy hold of Christ that saves thee - it is Christ; it is not thy joy in Christ that saves thee - it is Christ; it... Many felt insulted and disrespected.Some... Continue Reading →

Part 37: New Identity (Luke 17:1-19)

[sorry, audio of this sermon is not available] Resources A New Creation Kapag feeling mo hindi ka "accepted" - sa school o sa work o kahit sa loob ng bahay - you feel isolated, ang baba ng tingin mo sa sarili mo, apektado ang pamumuhay mo. Pero kapag naramdaman mo ang acceptance, nababago nito ang... Continue Reading →

Part 7: Touched

Some of you feel that, when compared to others, you are ugly, dirty, and unholy. You may feel that you are an outsider, that no one is paying attention to you, that you are unloved. What you feel is similar to an "unclean" man in Luke chapter 5. "While [Jesus] was in one of the cities,... Continue Reading →

“But God…”

Last night before our prayer meeting, I led some of our leaders in the first lesson of First Steps, a seven-lesson series designed for new believers. The lesson is entitled "Salvation: A Work of God." But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead... Continue Reading →
