The Apostles’ Creed Part 12 – The Forgiveness of Sins

Lahat tayo ay makasalanan, pero pinatawad tayo ng Diyos nang nagsisi tayo at sumampalataya kay Cristo. Nagkakasala pa rin tayo, pero patuloy na nagsisisi at binabago ng Diyos. So yung church is a communion of saints and sinners.

On Church Discipline Part 1 (1 Cor. 5)

We don’t decide for ourselves kung ano ang tama patungkol sa sex or any relationship. Hindi kung ano ang gusto natin, hindi kung ano ang socially and culturally acceptable…Ang standard at boundary natin ay kung ano ang sinasabi ng Diyos. We don’t take church discipline and holiness seriously because we take our sins or that of others lightly.

Violation and Confrontation (Nehemiah 13)

Matigas ang ulo natin. Matigas ang puso natin. Pero di tayo pababayaan ng Diyos sa katigasan natin. He will use other people to confront us. At gagamitin din tayo ng Diyos to confront others sa kanilang kasalanan. Tulad ng ginawa ni Nehemiah.
